The laws of physics dictate that sea-level is, well, at sea-level. Therefore, according to the laws of logic, if you are standing on a beach that is at sea-level, the sea rolls in at foot-level.
For some strange reason, not so at Famara.
However impossible it may be, the turquoise waves of the Atlantic seem to be rolling down towards you at Famara, from somewhere high above your head. On this stormy day in december, so do the clouds. Even the massive, black rockface that lines the water, appears to be leaning slightly over us.
And then, just as you - a bit shakily - decide maybe coming here was not all that bright an idea, Famara takes pity on the poor tourist.
Her mood, although still violent, is not all black after all.....
Note: no jokes about PSP rainbow plug-ins please. I've heard them all already. And anyway, if you had been there, and Famara had smiled at you, you wouldn't give a **** whether people believed you or not, either.
You'd know.
